Summary:
FEANTSA is the European Federation of National Organisations Working with the Homeless. The organisation dedicated the 2020 autumn issue of their magazine to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the homeless.
This issue features articles about the impact of the coronavirus outbreak on the homeless shelter systems, homeless migrants and anti-migrant agenda in Poland, Denmark and Greece respectively; the impact of Covid-19 on the LGBTQ+ young people facing homelessness in Italy; domestic abuse and homelessness in England.
It also zooms into the "Everyone In" policy to fight homelessness implemented in the UK during the first wave of the pandemic.
The report features key findings of an EU-wide survey of the good practices during the Covid-19 pandemic of the organsations that support people experiencing homelessness.
